A Bit About Me
From as early as I can remember, sport has been at the centre of my life. I grew up as a dual-national athlete, navigating the highs and lows of competing across different sports and systems.
What I came to realise over time was that no matter how much I trained, or how committed it was the mental side of sport was the one thing that consistently held me back. I didn’t have the tools to manage pressure, self-doubt, or setbacks. And that struggle sparked something in me.
This planted the seed for a career in sport psychology.
That seed only grew after a career-ending swimming injury. Navigating identity loss and isolation, especially during a global pandemic, was one of the most difficult periods of my life. But it taught me something invaluable: when everything else falls away, psychological support can be the difference between crumbling and coping.
Now, while I still love being active my relationship with sport has evolved. I’m focused on enjoying performance, not being defined by it, while protecting the space I need to grow as a practitioner.
Today, my practice is authentic, compassionate, and grounded in lived experience. I build strong relationships, work ethically and reflectively, and aim to be the kind of psychologist I once needed,
someone who sees the person beyond the athlete.
